The song has drums. A bass. The guitar. And a vocal. I would love to have some simple keys on it when I get done with it but I do not play them and I do not know anyone who does.....so that is out the door. I guess I could write another part to put opposite of the part I got...but I wanted the song to be kinda bare and simple. I'll try double tracking. I've only ever tried it for heavy music, never really thought about it for bluesy type stuff. I guess I'll have to experiment. What the hell did Hendrix do on Little Wing and {censored} like that? My tune is in the same vein as that only not as well written, concieved, played, recorded, ..........well in general it is a steaming pile of dog {censored} comparitively....but it's my steaming pile:D My tune has a little more straight strumming in it than that, but has alot of the same stuff going on.

In a song that has primarily one guitar.....strat, doing a bluesy, somewhat Hendrixy chord type thing....where the hell do you put it in the mix....it seems like in the center would muddy up the middle where the vocals are....all by itself on one side would sound weird and mess up the balnce of the mix (I think). Double tracking like metal guitars seems a bit off (I could be wrong). What the hell do people normally do? Do they use multiple tracks? Put it in the middle off to the side?????

Hey I've also got a Yamaha MD-8 mini disk recorder. It's an 8 track recorder with mixer. It's in great shape and works awesome. I don't have the instructions but they are easily found online......250$....I've got a POD XT that I have used twice for sale. I got a dbx 131 Eq for 100$ bucks.....it's been used for about four hours and is practically brand new. They sell for 149 new. I also have an Antares AtR-1 auto tuner for sale. It is also fairly new and has about 10 hours of use on it. They sell for 399 new and I'm selling it for 250$. I also have a Roland SRV-3030 digital reverb unit that I am selling. It's used and has some light scratches on it but looks good and is in perfect working order. I would have liked to be able to make them out.........And as the other guy said the song should be ended around the 2:54 second mark where it kinda ends then starts back up again. There is not enough going on diferent that makes me want to listen to the last minute of the tune........I like the song but it is rather repetitive so 4 minutes gets to be a bit much. I like the retro vibe you went for and I think you did a decent job recording it....of course I suck so I think anything is decent I'll be posting my very first recording here in about a week, it is the simplest song I've got so you can tell me what you don't like about my {censored} real soon.........till then keep on a' rocking.
