  1. Simple question. Never seen a Klon pedal for $750 US. Apologies. That's $150 less than I've seen one go for.
  2. 6) Do not criticize the price someone chooses to set for their gear. It's their gear, they can sell it for whatever they want. If the price is wrong, it won't sell, not your problem, let them worry about it.
  3. It's just one of those situations where it hurts a little bit to acknowledge how great a musician he is........................The REAL Rocker.
  4. The "dues" you pay are the thousands of hours of practice. +1

  7. Everyone's got an opinion. WRONG!
  8. Let us just confirm that we're in a tight spot due to HC being a geographical oddity. Two weeks from everywhere! [video=youtube;X4r4U-y5WJs]
  9. I can't say if the Internet was better in the 70s, but there were definitely fewer flamewars and trolls. Of course, back then, everybody was more open minded, guitarists had skills and women cared, and of course, as you point out, music was much better. And of course only one person could get on the internet at a time back then.
  10. No offence to Doc Jeffrey - these days I actually really enjoy his posts for the excellent photos and level of detail provided +1.
  11. I blame the mods. They do nothing when people put up obvious troll threads. For a forum to thrive and be useful, the mods gotta do their thing. They're not. If you want heavy-handed mods go to TGP. I don't come here for the troll threads but I enjoy HC's level of balance. I agree with the OP's sentiment to an extent. But the problem resolves itself automatically for me because I don't engage in threads I don't care about. Also, the more I subscribe to threads the less I care about what's on the first page.
  12. Ha! Great! We aim to please, so you aim too please!
  13. my only gripe about them is that after a few shows or rehearsals they lose their sharp edge. Yeah, I hate that too. And I thought Ultex was the toughest stuff around. Bet in 5 years they'll have something the same thickness/flex that doesn't wear or break.
  14. Scolfax - a while back you told us about how much you liked the Dunlop Ultex Sharps. I went and checked them out and fell in love. I'm not interested in anything else. Wondering if you lost love for them or are just experimenting? The sharps are great! They're like a magnet for strings. Which is awesome for leads but I eventually realized that pointed picks didn't feel right to me for rhythm. Have you noticed that at all or are you completely used to them? Yeah, I'm always experimenting with picks. It's cheap and fun.
