  1. I'd have my amp mic'd off-stage in an iso cab if that would make them happy. Besides that, no.
  2. GE Smith? The other guitar player in my former band was like that, not only with guitars but with amps as well and pedals. He had a different setup each week. It was impossible to work on a sound because of that and because he never mastered his setups, he was feedbacking most of the time...
  3. I had to steal one of my friend's guitars back for him...no {censored} One of the guys we were cool with at the time just kinda walked out of his house with it & said "Don't worry, I'll bring it back" Well, this guy has a habit of stealing things from other's houses and hawking the items for meth. Two hours later, I'm climbing through methhead's window to get the guitar back. Calling the cops right now.
  4. To make things clear, I never stole a guitar (and never had a guitar stolen from me).
  5. When my son lived at home, his band practiced at our place. They left a bunch of stuff in my basement. It's been two years. Is it mine yet? Is it better stuff than yours?
  6. I wouldnt say stolen but...A jam buddy left his cheap squier and SS fender amp at my house when we jammed ONCE. I was on the ball about what we were going to play with the other guy that was there, but this kyle guy just wanted to belt out retarded emo {censored}. So we never jammed again. He left his {censored} at my place. Fast forward 1 1/2 years later, 10 phone calls, several emails, and voice mails, and a final ultimatum of "Come get your {censored} this weekend, or it's going to the pawn shop. I'm not a {censored}ing storage shed. Final warning, your not here by Sunday, it's gone." He called that Friday saying he would try to come over. He didn't. He called just after noon on the Saturday and said he was definitely coming over that night. He didn't. I called him Sunday to remind him. I didn't want to be a total dick, so I still clung onto it for a week. He never bothered to contact me again, suffice to say. I sold it on CL. I don't think that makes me a jackass/thief but...well..meh. That's about as close as it gets for me. I could never actually blatently take someones stuff. I'm not sure I agree with your solution. I would have told him "If you don't come today to pick up your stuff, it goes on the sidewalk by 18h00" or something to that effect.
  7. I have a sailboat I'm restoring. Besides that, I don't want to get involved in anything else because just these two activities suck all the time I have.
  8. Did they sing "She's Only 37"? you fail at cheezy 80s metal bands
  9. People starting threads on HCEG that complain about things that they dont like People being smartasses.
