It depends on what you mean by good. The Delta 44 doesn't have all of the bells and whitles that the Layla has. It just gives you four line level inputs, and four line level outputs. There's no midi or digital I/O, mic preamps, or headphone jack. If you don't need all of those features than it's fine. One of my bandmates has one in his modest home studio. He uses this with a small Spirit mixers and a hand full of mics to record guitars and instruments. It seems to work good with all of his different software programs. He's been using the card for about three years with no trouble. I can go over there, and track guitar and bass parts, and get the sound I want with no problem, so I think it's pretty good.
