  • Need a GREAT Bass Plug-in

    Does anyone have perferably a free bass plug in that sounds super great, or one that is under $100. I don't want Spectrasonics Trilian because I don't need 32 Gb of plug-ins! Let me know what you guys have!

    To be honest, once you go with KONTAKT, you can stop worrying about separate plugins. Their instruments are all quite good.

        Before I had KONTAKT, I had this: http://bornemark.se/bb/index.htm

        I still use it. The two gift packs (free) after the fact are nice additions. It's less than $100 and gives you a ton of good bass sounds. Right now it's about $65 with the exchange rate.

              Well "great" is all relative, of course, but I remember a while back getting 4Front Bass free from KVR, and while I think it sounds decent enough by itself, if you run it through MarkBass Studio One of Softube's Bass Room you can get some pretty good results (again, IMHO, YMMV).
