  • Mixing & Mastering Resources?

Looking for recommendations....books, videos, websites...anything that I can learn from. I'm hoping to have my album mixed and mastered in a studio but if my budget gets shrunken down, I may need to do it myself. I'd like to learn as much as possible unless a studio offers their services for the charity I'm donating all proceeds to. So far, I haven't had any luck finding a studio to do it really cheaply or for the goose egg in exchange for credit on the album, my website, etc...

    So...what's out there?

this is a good read for future mastering engineers:

    Bob Katz - Mastering Audio.pdf

    or Bob's website.
