Members Idunno
I read the ad copy and through it all it tells me that it's more of an acoustic modeling system than a simple microphone/send unit. It's probably a great sounding system but don't believe it to be anything that honestly replicates the actual sound of your guitar. It does not make that claim in the ad copy. It says it reproduces the sound of your guitar, meaning, it senses the frequencies In and models them Out. What happens in between the sensing and sending events is enhanced in a fixed modeler circuit upstream of additional user features. Typical recipe for acoustic amplifying devices these days. Members DeepEnd
Your skepticism is duly noted. However, the proof is in the listening. If it sounds like my guitar then the system works. For a street price of $100 it's probably worth a try.
