Members DeepEnd Posted July 30, 2017 Members Share Posted July 30, 2017 I recently put a set of Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze ''medium light'' (12-54) strings on my main acoustic. From what I've read they last quite a while for uncoated strings. I read some reviews that mentioned excessive breakage but I haven't had any problems. They sound, well, ''lively'' and a bit metallic but that could just be me being used to my old strings.
