Members Idunno
I'm going to hang paperclips from my strings right now and let you know. Otherwise, the right pedal. Put it on the list.
Members Freeman Keller
Why would you want to get a distorted sound from an acoustic guitar?
Members dick wiggins
So I could play rock music on it. I like rock and also acoustic music this way I could just do all music on one guitar
Members Idunno
No paperclips at home. I am disappoint. Probably go out later and get some. Put a magnetic soundhole pup in it and then get a distortion pedal. I read about the pedals on a electric guitar forum once. They distort the sound but you have to have an ear for good distortion to get the right pedal, or so it seems, so don't just go out and buy any old distortion pedal. They have different flavors. Members DeepEnd
Acoustic with a soundhole pickup through a modelling pedal. Run it through the PA or an amp with reasonable fidelity like a dedicated acoustic amp, keyboard amp, or bass amp. That way, when the pedal is out of the circuit you can get a clean, natural acoustic sound. If you intend to rock out, you'll need fairly light strings for bends and the like.
