Members Musichead
I picked up a nice 6 string banjo that is made for ball send strings. I tune it just like a guitar and have tried acoustic & electric strings but the sound just isn't there. I'm looking for all silver strings like the originals on it but the only strings I can find are loop end. I've looked all over with no luck. Anyone have an idea where to look? Thanks. Members DeepEnd
GHS makes the strings you need. FWIW, they're stainless wound. A set of stainless wound electric guitar strings should work fine. Try a set of 11-50's.
