I got myself a Walden G800CE a few days back and it simply blew my mind! its is one of the cheapest all solid wood guitars out there but it is in no way cheap... a beautifully crafted guitar with an amazing sound ... its rich and open and full of life .... the guitar is unbelievable to say the least ... it makes me wonder what the more expensive guitars in the Walden line up sound like

overall

Sound 9/10

looks 8.5/10

finish 8/10

price 9/10

sound wise the guitar has very smooth and rich lows and mids and pretty strong highs!!

Congratulations and Happy New Guitar Day. Glad you found a good one. And yes, I'm sure the higher end Waldens are quite nice. Nobody around here (St. Louis) sells them since David's Guitar Loft stopped carrying them some years ago.

Cheapest all-solid?

I challenge you to the Xaviere XV580SS.

All solid dread and dirt cheap.

Not too shabby for the money. I, personally, would call it a "corksniffer's campfire guitar".

It would be more appropriate to call the G800CE one of the cheapest all solid Waldens. A good price new is above $700 so they're not exactly "cheap."
