Looks pretty sweet but realize they sometimes need some work or even a neck reset which can run into some money. It's almost impossible for a guitar that age to NOT need a neck reset. Maybe its playable but hard to tell. Either way its hard to tell remotely. Looks like a cool axe. I see hints of a top splitting down the middle but even those things are repairable. Tough judgement call. A guitar like that with some work done on it can be a real sweety though. Figure the worse case scenario and if you would still be happy.

I've played a few of the modern Gibson reissues of that style guitar and wasn't impressed. The tops were way overbraced and dead sounding. I was told by one store owner that Gibson realized this but was trying to keep the reissues authentic to the original bracing. Small guitars really need to be played before you buy IMHO.
