South Korea is correct. Go to www.Cort.com to tour the plant. They have a new plant in Indonesia and China, also. The same company owns MightyMite. They have a state of the art plant.

Cort has excellent quality control. The higher end guitars are Korean made, and the less expensive ones come from China and Indonesia. There is nothing wrong with any of them.

Thank you for your advice... I've buy this CortEarth 100 with Fishman 4 B EQ (sonicore PU) for the incredible price of 207 Euro (including a gigbag + shipping costs fom Germany to Belgium...)...

I'm waiting for a Laney LA65 C for electro... but for my first gig friday night) with the Cort I've used a Fender Performer 1000...

This guitar when plugged have a rich bass tone, a minimum of changes with the EQ and you have singing high notes...

I play mostly "Delta Blues" in duo with a slide guitarist, I' more into the role of ''singer - rhythm''...

This entry level Cort is the ideal instrument to use in small caf

Good luck with your Cort, Teddy. I hope you enjoy it playing "Delta Blues". I live about 50 miles from the "crossroads" by the way. Near Clarksdale, Mississippi.

I'm not afraid of the devil, I've been married to his sister for the last 33 years.
