Members roadscholar
Your definitely not paying extra just for "looks". The NV360S has solid Indian Rosewood back and sides, AN10 solid mahogany. You're also getting the Bear Claw spruce top, ebony fingerboard, etc. I'm craving a Nashville Series Takamine myself. I want the TNV740S.

Members merch
D'you guys think there'd be any difference in tone/sound between the pure acoustic and the electro acoustic model? (TNV360S) I hear a lot about electro-acoustic guitars having a sacrificed sound. The guy I spoke to over the phone seemed to think they'd be identical, and that only true purists would say there is a difference, but you know how salesmen are. Members Fstpicker
There are two schools of thought on this. Some (mostly the purists) say that you sacrifice a little tone when you have an USD pickup under the saddle. And then others say that you don't. I tend to be in the "later" camp. I don't think the differences, if any, would be enough to worry about. BTW, I too noticed that guitar when they first came out with it before. It sure looks great, albeit a little pricey. I haven't played one yet, but I have played an AN-10 and that sounded really good to me! Have fun looking and deciding. Jeff
