Hi, I'm looking to buy one of these types of guitar, I've got a budget of about $4-500. My top two contenders right now are the yamaha ntx700 and the Cordoba Fusion 14 rs. I've played the yamaha, and I liked it. I haven't played the Fusion, but I've played some similar cordobas and thought they were nice.

Any thoughts?

Just an observation. Rondo is now using a BBand t35 preamp on some of it's classicals. Cordoba is using that same preamp on some its classical. In my opinion, the only bad thinng about the Rondo Valencia guitars, is that you can't try before you buy.Yamaha could be a good choice. I was quite surprised at the overall level of workmanship on Valencia guitars.

I have a Yamaha APX6NA back home. It's a fine guitar. The neck is amazing.

It's thinner than a lot of classicals. The guitar feels wonderful. But the

acoustic volume isn't as much as I'd like.

I have a VN-made A/E with plenty of acoustic volume.

But I don't like the pick-up sound.

Forced to choose, I'd prefer the VN guitar. But they're both nice.
