      I'm reading a lot of really good reviews about the Yamaha FG700. Sounds like a really good guitar at a low price. What do you guys know about Yamaha's acoustic/electrics, http://usa.yamaha.com/products/music...l-ac-guitars/?

              Is anyone familiar with the differences between the FGX700 and the FGX730? How is the built in System55T?

                If you are mainly planning on playing amplified, get a plywood guitar and a really good pickup system over an all wood guitar and a cheap pickup system. Feeds back less. More durable.

                  Haven't played the FGX700 but the 730 is a great buy. Good sound unplugged and the pickup works great. Almost as good as my pro level Tak, but not quite.
