  • Notes.......so overrated.

At times, so very unnecessary, redundant, irritating.

    Silence.

Now that's what I'm talkin' about.

    Silence is golden.

The space in between. The shortest distance. "The quantum of solace"?

You can never go wrong with a well-placed

See what I mean? Aren't you glad I stopped?

    Silent.

Mozart's music was once criticized as having too many notes in it.

Rests have a rhythmic value that makes them more like notes than not, I think.

We all need a rest stop every once in awhile.
Three Dreads......2 Martins and 1 YamahaA fiddle, a mando, a uke, eight harmonicas, a Zoom H2, a Panasonic recorder, coupla penny whistles, an Italian made Titano accordion, three handguns, at least a dozen chess sets, more power tools than Bob Vila, and one old Westclox "Big Ben" wind-up alarm clock that still works! Oh, BTW, I forgot to mention my ocarina and maracas.

Not too too crazy about the "bridge" Ed, but other than that, I gotta say your "composition", it's just so beautiful.......

That being said, it would appear that the rest of the membership has chosen -perhaps appropriately- to remain silent on the subject.
