Members SoLastCentury
I've just acquired a Dallas Dreadnought guitar The name 'Dallas' on the headstock is in gold leaf, yellow label inside states Dallas model 4464 Made in Japan. It's in great condition, I was sold it as '60s (?), has an adjustable bridge. Does anyone know where I can find more info. There is no reference in VGPG and seaching online is frustrated by the 'coincidence' of the name!I'm confident that these were a UK brand, (Amps became Sound City) deliberately American sounding.Ideally I'd love to know the factory, materials, period of production, any info or leads useful ...
