Members knockwood Posted February 23, 2013 Members Share Posted February 23, 2013 One of the many reasons I am happy to have escaped NYC is that our proximity to the nuclear plant at Indian Point was never far enough from my mind. That joint is already far beyond its projected lifespan, and only 50 miles from Brooklyn and, more important, only about 35 miles from our old apartment at the north end of Manhattan. Not to worry.
