Classical guitar question

I recently purchased a Cordoba acoustic/elctric classical guitar. Being a steel string player for decades this is the first time I played nylon strings in like 30 years. I love the sound, however I noticed that whenever I pick the guitar up to play it is always flat and needs tuning (way more so than my steel string guitars). Is this normal for nylon strings?

Yeah. BigAl is right. Nylon strings take longer to settle in than steel. And even when they have done so they are more likely to go out due to temerature changes etc.

You just have to live with it but it's worth it for the great sound of nylon strings.
