Members katopp Posted March 3, 2013 Members Share Posted March 3, 2013 Well, for more than 2 1/2 years, there was no need for a car. Work was 15 minutes on foot away, shopping 10. Bus stop into town directly in front of the gates, no need whatsoever for a vehicle.Tax, insurance, fuel .. etc. is exceptionally expensive here, too. Even though shopping and the bus stop still are where they were, the job has moved some 17 miles out. No way to get there w/o a car. So I had to get me one. No experience with the Tiburon but my boss and his wife have been driving Hyundai's and Kia's (divisions of the same company) for years and have no complaints. Other folks I know who have the same makes are quite satisfied. Our brother-in-law is on his second Hyundai and loves it, as he did the previous one, which was totalled a few years ago.
