Members EdBega
Probably Dm for me simple enough chord but maybe I didn't play it that much when I was younger. You?

Members Opa John
Yep......Dm. Same for me. A little lousy 3-finger chord. I can do a barred "F" a lot easier. Glad I don't need the Dm very often.

A nemesis is something that a person cannot conquer, achieve, etc. In this case maybe you just have trouble with it occasionally ...
Members Seorie
When I playd in standard tuning (40 years ago) I played barred 'A shape' with the top 'pad' of my ring finger bending it back / up to miss the 1st string = two finger chord. Members Grant Harding
I've never liked A major shape very much. Fingers are too big to play all 3 notes separately so I normally play it with my 1st or 3rd finger, depending where I'm headed after that.
Members Pine Apple Slim
The barred A shape has always been tough due to a jammed/broken 3rd finger joint that I never had looked after. (High school wrestling injury). I lost some ability to bend the 3rd finger backwards/flat enough.I've learned to make do over the years. I dont avoid it, but it requires some contortion that most people dont have to deal with.

But the notes are there. I know you were kidding because your chord is utterly unplayable (lol) but as it turns out it's pretty easy to play with the fingering I offered. Back to the question, My nemesis chords ar the one using the thumb over the neck to fret the sixth string. I could practice it but I've never bothered. My hands are small for that one.
