I had just started playing regularly again, after many years of hardly ever playing. I played a fair amount in my late teens and then stopped. I stumbled upon this forum in '03 when I was reading user reviews of guitars.Now I play every day. The difference in motivation for me is the discovery of songwriting and the sum-greater-than-parts magic of playing with other musicians and singers.
