Members old bear
Hi guys,I am considering buying Martin D-15M guitar from Thomannhttp://www.thomann.de/gb/martin_guitars_d15m_nt.htm What confuses me is this NT suffix. According to Martin site there is no D-15M NT guitar (only D-15M).Can onyone clarify what this NT means ?Is it possible they are selling old D-15 modelhttp://www.martinguitar.com/guitar-care/care-guide/inactive-models/item/632-d-15.html?Itemid=6which has Mortise/Tenon Neck Joint construction (maybe M NT means Mortise/Tenon Neck) ?Thanks for your answers. Members katopp
Yep, Martin is "updating" the models below the classic range - that is anything below the -18 Series - with a newly designed mortise/tenon neck joint. I was able to check one of the first models while I was in Nazareth late last year and they did impress me.

Members FretFiend.
Strange. The only place with any reference to a "D15M-NT" is thomann. Nothing about it on CFM's site either. The D15M is still in the lineup, and it does tout "Ply Blocks/Simple Dovetail Neck Joint". New design? Maybe. CFM did make some waves about that CNC produced dovetail neck joint a while back. Members FretFiend.
Actually, the Windows NT Kernel was the technolgy that evolved into Win 2000, XP, 7, etc, and has proven to be vastly superior to the Windows 9x kernel that powered Win 95, 98, and Me, may it rot in hell. I'm sure that Bob Taylor would sic his lawyers on CFM if they tried to use the NT (New Technology) logo, which has become a Taylor trademark.
