Members dstapleton70
The local Guitar center has a price slash on a Gibson Songwriter with electronics and cutaway for $1199, It does have a drop sized ding on the upper bout that goes thru the finish and the wood barely, it did not seem to effect the sound or structure it will be the most expensive guitar I have ever puchased but I always wanted a Gibson acoustic. I bit the bullet and put some money down to put the guitar on hold/layaway. Now I need to sell a few guiotars to fund the purchase. I took a few pictures but I likely won't have it in my possession until August. pictures to come.
Members DeepEnd
Happy (Pending) New Guitar Day. The ding doesn't look that bad and the rest of the guitar looks very sweet.
Members valentsgrif
I bought my Gibson WM-45 under circumstances like yours, with a minor finish defect, but a hefty discount. Four years later she sounds better than ever, the ding is a reminder of the money I saved and is mostly forgotten now that I've added a few of my own. Good luck with it.
