Goodbye MIM standards, Hello Player Series

Fender has discontinued the long-running MIM standard series and has replaced them with their new Player Series.

BTW, I have an offer from Fender to try out / review any of these new guitars - what model(s) would you folks like for me to check out?

 

 

Well....ALL of them of course! And we'd like exhaustive reviews on them as well, thank you very much. :cool12:

Let's see.....the guitars in question are STILL made in Mexico but the name has changed.Sounds like they are taking a page from the Gibson Guitars playbook...take the same basic product....call it something else....change just enough on it so nobody knows what you are doing....and make a killing off of it from suckers who THINK they are getting a Bargain! What do you have....GENIUS......on Fender's part anyway....LOL!
