Long been a fan of the Ennio Morricone tunes from the Sergio Leone Spaghetti Westerns. There's a lot of beautiful orchestral renditions of his music on YT these days, and it's interesting to reflect that he employed electric guitar partly to avoid the costs of a traditional large cinematic orchestra and now covers of his music employ more musicians than he would have ever contemplated for the original scores.
