Members mbengs1
These things are very low priced but are as good as the Ibanez rg421s. I was thinking of getting two of these $200 guitars than the $300 Ibanez fixed bridge rg's. are the js22's a great deal?
Members Chordite
I have the even more budget JS12 Dinky. The JS22 should have more finesse. It seems well enough built but lacks any element of "character". It isn't just an artifact of being new, I have played new Ibanez Arts that were instantly engaging out of the box. I strongly suggest play before you buy.
Members DeepEnd
Bear in mind Jacksons in general are metal guitars, geared to a specific style of music. Chordite hit it with "finesse." If you're looking for something with high output pickups and the rest of the package it might be for you but two cheap guitars are no substitute for one good one. Members badpenguin
I wouldn't worry about him getting one anytime soon. He usually takes about 7 years to "consider".
