Anyone using this pedal? I would like to know whether you can have a tap tempo delay of 3-5 seconds (this is not a looper question). Please let me know ASAP. Thanks in advance!

First of all, no, I have not tried that pedal, so everything that follows is pure conjecture on my part.

I would be pretty surprising for a multieffect pedal designed for acoustic guitar to be sporting a delay with a 3-5 second maximum delay time. I'd expect it to be in the 1,000 - 1,500ms range at best, and possibly less.

I checked both the T-Rex product page as well as Sweetwater's product page, and neither says anything about the max delay time. There's also no PDF manual for the SoulMate Acoustic on the T-Rex website, although there is one for the regular SoulMate - but it doesn't say anything about the max delay time either.

Sorry - I really tried to find the info you wanted, but I failed to do so. My recommendation would be to email T-Rex and ask them directly.
