Members akpasta
Hi Folks, I'm looking at a 360/12 on Reverb right now. Appears to have a 12-saddle bridge already installed and the hi-gain pickups (not toasters). Listing says it was manufactured in 1997. Can anyone give me an indication of the quality of Ric 12's from that era? It's something I can't really tell via the internet. Thank you!! Members badpenguin
Unlike Gibson, Ric's have always been consistent in terms of quality. I have a 99 330, that I love to death.
Members Drummer44
Can't speak to 1997 quality, but I have a relatively new 360/12... It's got a really skinny neck, so playing it (or one like it, or maybe building in a return clause if necessary) might help you. -D44
Members Mikeo
I am fortunate to own 4 Rickenbacker guitars, The 330 6 string ( fireglo) was purchased in the 90's. It's either a 96- or 97, I'd have to look. The 620 ( Fireglo)was purchased in the early 2000's, a 330 12 string (Jetglo) was purchase maybe about 5 years ago and I was able to add the 350V63 (Midnight Blue) back in November. Very nice guitars, all of them. One might even say flawless. A buddy of mine has a 330 from back in the early 90's in candy apple. I actually could take measurements on the fretboard width if needed. I just loaded up my calipers with a new battery.
