Members Axisplayer
I know only what I have read, but know a good bit about the Axis as it was my main guitar for almost 20 years (axis-player.) I am told that the Axis and the EX are the same parts used in the states but assembled overseas. Pickups are said to sound slightly different but that shouldn't really be unless they are different. Thats said, people that own both don't see much difference and that is saying something because an Axis is still my favorite guitar. Anyway, the only difference in the Axis and the EVH was switch placement so I am surprised they moved it again on the EX. I don't like the position on the EX. I want the switch close to volume and where my right hand should be, not at the far end of the guitar. But thats just me. You may love it.
Members badpenguin
I wouldn't worry abo9ut answering his posts quickly. He tends to save for 7 years or so, before buying. Or never buying, and just collects posts like they are some sort of badge.
Members mbengs1
I thought the axis had different neck dimesions and shape, plus the bridge is bigger I heard. the pickups are also different I believe.
