Members GAS Man
Arguably' date=' one of the best rhythm players ever, passed away.[/quote'] Woah, I'm Thunderstruck. and I agree. It's like in Thunderstruck, Angus has the mighty cool hammer on/pull off riff going, it builds with drums and bass, but it's not until Malcom's uber-cool rhythm kicks in at 0:50 that it's got you locked in a full pulsating groove. I also love that his rhythm tone was on that edge of clean and overdrive, giving you the cool tone of that Gretsch and it's empty cavity along with just the right amount of overdrive snarl. [video=youtube;v2AC41dglnM] My sincere condolences to Angus and the rest of Malcom's family and mates. I knew he had failing health, but am surprised to hear it took him so soon. Lost my dad 4 years ago to lewy body dementia.
