I'd since found out from a buddy that it's the MOD 12, part of the MOD series that also included the MOD 6 and the very rare MOD 7. I found pictures on the web of the 6, one of the 7, and none of the 12. Seems like these guitars were real outliers. I don't remember when I got this 12, at least 15 years ago.
