Members DeepEnd
I've mentioned in the past that we can't keep a drummer, with two down so far. You may have also noticed in another thread of mine that I mentioned ''the percussionist.'' A young lady who is a student at a local seminary plays mainly djembe type percussion (I've heard she also plays regular drums) and this morning she sat in with the praise band. She's apparently interested in making it a fairly regular gig so keep your fingers crossed.for us.

Members DeepEnd
if this one fails, get a beat buddy...god will thank you... The piano is a Kawai and it has built-in rhythm. We've been using that about a third of the time but it's nice to have actual drums.

Members Ancient Mariner
Hope she fits in well & you have fun. Cajon's have caught on this side of the pond, as a budget 'drum kit'.
Members stormin1155
Our drummer misses a lot of weeks, and when he is gone we use a drum machine (Alesis SR-16). I dislike using it, but our sound guy has gotten pretty good at doing fills and alternative beats so it doesn't sound quite so canned.
