Members Riders on the Purple Sage
Have you seen the PRS "Reclaimed" series? Holy hanna, I would give both kidney's for one of those! Well, ok, one of mine and one of yours. Seriously beautiful tops! http://www.prsguitars.com/news/story/prs_guitars_unveils_limited_edition_reclaimed_wood_guitars The ones at the top are beauties, the ones at the bottom are not so much... Phil O'Keefe
You guys should check the HC News every so often - I update it every weekday, and we ran the story about those back on March 10. http://www.harmonycentral.com/news/prs-takes-wood-from-old-buildings-and-turns-it-into-beautiful-guitars PRS does indeed make some very nice guitars (and amps too), and I thought the story behind the wood on those was pretty interesting. Members badpenguin
I think they are strikingly beautiful! It's a shame I hate PRS's.
Members Mikeo
I have an old Custom 22 PRS, I love the birds. Mine is a McCarty sunburst Flame 10 topper with birds. I left the old rotary switch in it cause it gives you the most tone options. However I can never remember where I have the switch parked. I have played the Starla and wanted to love that guitar, but I didn't like it at all. Did dig the pups either. The Mira is a cool rocker electric. Members 1001gear
PRS somehow nailed their body shape and headstock. Truly a classic design. What's a wood manager?

Sorry Phil, that is a great article, I appreciate you pointing me towards it! The story on the wood is cool! I do need to explore more on this site, I admit.
