I'm getting up from my computer to go practice guitar. I actually had my ultimate shaming years ago ~ Taught my Stepson to play guitar and by his 8th grade, he was playing Satriani in the talent show without missing a note, including the fret tapping. "Always With Me, Always With You". Since then I'm accustomed to the youngins showing amazing talent, so quickly. A lot of folks say it's about "practice" but I don't think one can deny the attributes of talent. But then again, there's also "smart practice" vs "noodling/wanking".
