Members onelife
We've probably all seen Jeff Beck's Live at Ronnie Scott's show but this video I stumbled on today is a good example of the Jeff Beck that caught my ear forty years age. [video=youtube;WELTo0GYBt4]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WELTo0GYBt4 Note the Fender Champ in the second bit.
Members Emory
many can match him for technique, but few have his wonderfully inventive mind....

Members GAS Man
I think it's interesting to contrast his current, fusion, and early days guitar work. Seems like few guitarists have evolved from the '60s hey days as much as JB. I get a kick out of this tune even though he's not doing the finger tapping part, but I'm sure he could if he wanted to take that bit. It's a high energy tune. [video=youtube;p-XefAv6k-4] But when I'm watching his early stuff, I'm like "Hey, I could do that!" [video=youtube;e--e8fScb2A] Frankly, I became a fan of his after he did "People Get Ready" with Rod Stewart. i just love the tone he got going on that. Soaring lead tones but not harsh. Very cool stuff. [video=youtube;MC8IbPObd1o]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MC8IbPObd1o
Members soundcreation
Love his old stuff. Appreciate his evolution. Love it when people do their own things and don't care what others think. But I just can't get into any of his "new" stuff. I'll watch it for a minute or two.....marvel at his talent.....then I get bored.
Members mbengs1
wow jeff beck speaks well on his guitar. he's no shredder but he can say a lot with less notes. does have other instrumental songs aside from 'cause weve ended as lovers', 'two rivers', 'where were you', and 'becks bolero'?
