Members eeddings
RIP Gary Richrath. He's surely doing the Flying Turkey Trot in heaven.
Members wankdeplank
Now I gotta get a buddy to burn me some REO. Sounds like Richrath wrote some of their best stuff - Ridin the Storm Out is a classic for sure. RIP Sir, your music was an inspiration.

Not sure, but I thought he wrote Back on the Road again also.
Members wankdeplank
Will check it out, not all that familiar with the band but have liked the radio friendly stuff I've heard.
Members gdsmithtx
That sucks. I grew up with REO Speedwagon as a near-constant staple on the radio (graduated HS in 83). I wasn't a fan of their power ballads, but they sure could rock when they wanted to. I mentally lump them in with contemporaries like April Wine and Nazareth; I don't like all their songs, but I really, really like a few of them.
