I thought I'd share some pics of my Satriani collection

that some here may appreciate. I had posted a similar

thread many years ago, but I've added some to

the collection since then. The newest of which is a

JS 2400.

I also have a couple of the predessessors to the

Satriani line which are the Ibanez 540 R models.

Cheers, J

Recorded with the JS 2400. Seemed fitting to

throw in some Satch like licks.

Cool' date=' very attractive axes but dig the snake replica most.[/quote']

The Snake replica was done by BC Guitars, (Beyond Custom Guitars). The

artist Shadoe Mckee does a very nice job of painting these. She does each one

slightly different, but in the same style as the one of a kind that Joe has.

The one Joe has was done by a friend of his. I'm posting pics below from

BC guitars website from a few years ago of the snake replica, and then

one of Joes actual Snake guitar.

Cheers, J

Thanks guys. Some of these guitars are part of my retirement plan and have gone up more in the last 10 years then my other investments. Plus side is I get to play some great guitars when the mood/mode (lol) hits me.

Alamo Joe, good to hear from you my friend. This has to be the place where we met

with our respective soundcloud pages. I had not posted here in quite some time so

it's nice to see a name I recognize.

Cheers, J

Lemme tell you guys..belleswell can freakin' play!!!! Check out his Soundcloud page!

And good to see you too Buddy!:cool12:

Thank you AJ. You're too kind. Working on some new ones lately.

Just trying to pick the best tracks for the mix. That's the real

hard part for me as most all of what I record, I'm not quite

happy with. Did you see my other post titled "New Guitar Day

Shes a Beauty"?

satriani is my favorite player.

but i'm not sure i like to play his guitar though.

Hi Mbengs1,

I was wondering if you were referring to using a JS guitar

for gigging or just overall as one to play at home. I have quite a few

other guitars including LPs,SGs, Fenders, and the like, to choose

from for gigging, and would only use a JS model when doing some

covers of his. But when playing at home, I find these very comfortable

to play sitting, and they offer a wide range of tone imo. If not, why?

They're great guitars.

Cheers, J
