Members Chordite
Asking what songs you think would work or have had success with solo in a small venue?Just moved to a new area leaving my musician buddies hundreds of miles away so contemplating a few solo gigs at local bars.I am primarily an electric rhythm guitarist. My vocals are decent if a little croonerish.I have derived stripped down versions of "Under the Bridge " and "Riders on the Storm" to give you my general orientationI have looked at Simon and Garfunkel stuff but the harmonies are an important part of their texture so that's kind of trickier than expected. Thanks

Members badpenguin
Ring of fire, the Zappa version comes to mind. Yesterday, Black Bird, Elenor Rigby, hell, just about anything by the Beatles can be adapted for solo guitar and voice
Members DeepEnd
In all seriousness, wankdeplank and badpenguin are spot on with the Beatles. I'm showing my age and of course my tastes aren't the same as yours but maybe some Jim Croce, Dylan, Neil Diamond, Linda Ronstadt, etc.
