Members Chordite Posted April 19, 2015 Members Share Posted April 19, 2015 Most likely plated aluminum, anything else would be too heavy. Gold would dislocate your arm, it is heavier than lead. Next time you are in the shop scrape a bit off with a penknife and see if it is silvery underneath, If it is ask at the counter for a pickup and see if it sticks to it to rule out a steel pressing.
