HNGD - Eastman AR503-CE

I bought an Eastman E80M acoustic last year. It's basically a clone of a Martin 000-28, except that it's more like the 000-28EC (Clapton) in that it has a 1.75" nut width (regular 28 is 1.6875"), V-neck (vs. the standard Martin low-profile), and Adirondack spruce top (vs. the standard Martin sitka). It is a KILLER guitar. I've owned a couple of regular 000-28s - both were excellent guitars - but the Eastman tops both. And it was only $999 with a hardshell case. I paid $1,599 new for my first 000-28 (10 years ago?), and $1,799 for the second.

I'd put my Eastman up against any similar instrument from a Martin to a Santa Cruz to a Collings (have owned the first and third). The construction is impeccable. It plays like butter (yeah, it's a cliche) and sounds sublime.
