Members mistersully
wanted a strat... liked this strat.... bought it (shop photos) it's a nash S 63 what's worse is he doesn't cut his own bodies... *gasp*... he puts them together *egads* anyway... i always said i'd never buy a relic because it was relic'd... but i wouldn't let it stop me if it was a cool guitar this is a cool guitar
Members mnewb1
absolutely love my relic...the neck is silky smooth as opposed to some new sticky nitro necks I've encountered in the past

Members Stringbender11
I'm in the 'not a fan of relics' camp but I looked at a few Fender CS guitars recently at guitar center that were heavily relic'd, and I have to admit they were hard not to like, lol. Members mistersully
relic! nice, mate... how long have you had it?
Members jtr654
It looks like a nice guitar. I don't really care for distressed guitars. If they are old an beat up I can handle that. I just don't even bother to look at relic guitars and I buy nothing but Used Guitars.

Members Juicy Elk Man
I usually condemn relics, but that one's pretty cool - not overdone. Nice buy; have fun with it.

Members Stringbender11
it's a great playing and sounding strat Really that's all that matters. And while I wouldnt personal relic a guitar I dont have a problem with them. I'm much more interested in a player's skill than what axe he chooses to play. Cool guitar though. Members ido1957
When I see a relic - I just imagine it would be easy to play with great tone - why else would it be worn in? Guitars that play well look played not all shiny from the case. Maybe the psychology is working! HNGD - it sounds like it plays as well as imagined! Members wankdeplank
See I find that very appealing because it's understated. The pastel looks vintage but the relicing is not overdone; and I appreciate the fact that it doesn't blatantly try to pass as a Fender. Congrats and enjoy. PS I'm sure that's an incredible guitar but doesn't it bother you that they put such a cheap string tree on a $1,500 instrument? I'm sorry but I just did notice that. Those things will cause tuning issues. Easy fix obviously and the rest of the guitar looks classy as Hell. Just surprised that's all.
Members badpenguin
I don't like relics as a rule. I prefer the natural relics, more than the new/old ones. But it IS a NASH, and that makes them special, relic or not! Good find!
Members DeepEnd
I also don't care for "relics" but that is a nice looking guitar. Congratulations and Happy New (Old) Guitar Day.
Moderators Ratae Corieltauvorum Posted November 17, 2014 Moderators Share Posted November 17, 2014 All I see is a distinctive guitar that someone picked up and liked, couldn't give a shíte if it has larks vomit and wolf dribble on it
Members ILoveMyGuitar
That's a SWEET looking guitar. I love that color combo together with the rosewood neck. What brand is that, I note it doesn't say Fender in the headstock.
