Everybody is up on stage playing Blackmore's signature riff - even an orchestra complete with conductor - except the guy who came up with it. It looks like Gillan is thinking about him when he's playing the congas. I think Ritchie gets the last laugh tho. The "finale" is him with an acoustic guitar and it starts about five minutes in. "Smoke on the Water" is a lifetime paycheque for him while the others still slug it out in arenas he just plays what he wants. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
