Ended up with:

Akai MPK49 for the home studio

Alesis SamplePad for the studio and live stuff

Digitech Jamman Stereo for live stuff

iPad for live stuff - I use OnSong

Zoom Q2HD to record gigs

Phew, back to actually playing music...

...what do you guys have coming your way?

Congratulations and Happy Recording Gear Day. I don't have any gear purchases planned.

I'm looking for a cheap bass.

Check your local CraigsList or equivalent. Ibanez, Peavey, Squier. Epiphone or maybe Gretsch if you want short scale.

Hi Blackhat hope all is well your way.... Im in the process of moving my studios and amplification center to Champaign Illini from Chicago Illini

Its been a pain in the ass but it will be good to be in a new location

So I will be buying ..... sound damping, 2x4s and lots of construction materials...

Dude... if you use Onsong, then you NEED one of these:

Totally changed the way I use my iPad in live settings!

**EDIT**No idea why it put a link to SW's main page... won't let me delete it!
