My new McFeely 454 guitar came in this week....I have a 440 model that I've been playing for about a year and a half (the blue guitar below). This guitar is Korina body and neck with a rosewood fretboard, Gotoh bridge and tuners and Suhr DSV pickups. As complicated as I originally made the 440 when I ordered it this guitar I wanted to be simple and it turned out WAY better. I had my first gig with it yesterday and it sounded massive. The pickups can be split with push pull pots and the controls are volume, tone and bass contour. Instead of paint I wanted to try something different and I asked for an oil rubbed finish which turned out awesome. It isn't very resistant to scratches or dings so I guess I'll have a "relic" guitar pretty soon just through daily use but I'm cool with that.
