Members Barryj61
Those holes used to have tuning gears in them.....some of the original Bitches were 10 string guitars. That's how you tuned the extra 4 strings.......cool!

Members rbm
wouldn't that be weird to play with the other strings taken off? I mean, wouldn't the spacings be odd?
Members ghastlyone
Mustaine played a Bich 10 string without the extra 4 strings in his early Metallica days and during the first 2 Megadeth albums. You can see in the pic he left the tuners on. The main 6 strings are not spaced any differently so there is no problem.
Members keNz
Though I know the E.R. sentiments, that picture is featured on this page with some info... The modern day version I suppose...

Ha ha ha - unintentional irony there: People often make claims on their website that simply aren't true. I suggest you be careful.

The the D-G-B-E strings. The point is that you can have the chime of a 12 string on the high end and still be crunchy and thudlike on the E and A strings. Some people even went as far as to make only double the unwound strings for better power chords. cool idea.

Next step is to make a 10 or 12 string Floyd Rose..... BTW, Slash has one of those too....damn Joe Perry rip-off!

Washburn made a similar deal with the A-series explorer looking guitars
