PRS Rotary 4 way switch Question

Guy came into my buddies store with a nice looking PRS guitar

(Blue quilt with bird inlays on the neck). The guy then tried to put in an EMG kit (81 and 85 I think). He didn't wire it right i think and it doesn't work. He did have the sense to use the 25k pots supplied with the kit. I did notice the rotary switch on the guitar is a four position switch (coil taps?).

Is there a rotary switch for three way? Where would I get one?

It is the third knob on this guitar as it has 1 volume and 1 tone knob.

Thank you in advance.

Many people replace the 5-way PRS rotary with a more traditional three-way toggle switch, like they use on the McCarty's.

Original the PRS would have been wired to switch...

Treble pickup

Parallel outside coils

Series inside coils

Parallel inside coils

Bass pickup

I have only seen 5+ position rotary switches. Some rotary switchs can be made to fix fewer positions just by bending one of the solder lugs up to block the switch from rotation more than 3 or 4 positions. I've never looked or tried to see if this could be done on a PRS switch.
