Members marloni
I know the eric johnson strat neck is 12" radius. I don't know what other strat has a flatter radius since I don't really like the usual strats that have 7.5 to 9.5 radiuses. no strats with floyd roses, btw. Members bubkus_jones
The SRV Strat has a 12" radius, too. I believe G&L uses 12" radii on their necks, if you're not specifically looking at Fender. Otherwise, you would probably have to have a neck made with a 12" or flatter radius (i.e. from Warmoth or USA Custom Guitars).

Members Twangster
A couple of the Deluxe models have them? Have to look on the Fender site and MF's specs.
Members powderfinger
The Deluxe Player's Strat (MiM, Deluxe Noiseless pups) has a 12" radius and 21 MJ frets. Played one (acoustically) today and boy am I fighting the GAS hard. I doubt it would knock off my favorite MiA strats, but close and a nice step up from the Standard strats (which can be very nice, I have one that's one of my favorite guitars). Members solitaire
Does any of you guys know if the standard radius has changed at some point or has this to do with which model of guitar?
Members jec
There is no standard universal radius. Some of the most common are 7.25 for vintage Fenders, 9.5 for the current, gay Fenders and 12 on most Gibsons. Then you get into Jacksons and stuff that have 16 to 20 compound radii and all type of crazy stuff. Most guitars will be one of these: 7.25, 9.5, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 or 20. Members cylon
what the fook does a lower radius 9.5 do? why is it bent at an angle
Members marloni
Why is 9.5 the gayest radius? They seem to be the ideal, slightly rounded but not too much that notes get choked on bends.
