Members charlie13033
Anyone have a Peavey T-30? What is a good use one worth paying for? Are they good guitars? Looking for a GOOD Fender Strat Copy.
Members Wasted Effort
I used to own one. Well made like all the T series. Ash body and I always liked the pickups. But it had a weird bridge and I could never get used to the short scale neck (23.5" vs 25.5" for a strat). If you can get one for $100-$125, you can always resell it for that. Members Brian Krashpad
Haven't played or heard much about the T-30. The T-series in general have a rep for being extremely tough, but heavy, guitars. I have a T-60 I got in VG condition w/OHSC for $200. I would think a T-30 could be got for less than that. Also consider a US-made Peavey Predator. Those have a body shape more like a Strat than the T-series. They fairly routinely go for under $200 (and sometimes under $100!) on Ebay, though I think those prices will start to creep up soon. BK
